Comments: Just came across this web sight! Many happy and fond memories of Kawhia were awakened. Brought a tear to my eye and made me think of those carefree summer days spent at the beach, sliding down the hills or sitting on the verandah taking in the postcard view! Have not been to Kawhia for 10 years. My inlaws John and Marina Tukua made Kawhia a special place to visit. One day I'm going to visit this wonderful place again!
